Have you ever been approached in a parking lot and been asked to sample a perfume?

These two guys came up to me in the parking lot and asked me what perfume I wear, and if I wanted top sample some. I was kind of freaked out but took a sniff of two of the perfumes he sprayed on a piece of paper and said ';No thanks'; and drove off.

Is this normal? I looked it up online and saw people saying it's some kind of scam and after you sniff the ';perfume'; you pass out. Well I haven't passed out. Should I be worried?Have you ever been approached in a parking lot and been asked to sample a perfume?
It happened to me many times but wasnt in the car park but I think you better be careful....Have you ever been approached in a parking lot and been asked to sample a perfume?
What a bunch of creepers.

Be super careful when you're in the parking lots and elsewhere, try to go with a guy or at least another person!!

If you see guys like that again, or anyone who tries to offer/sample something to sniff, eat, or drink...drive around and try to get their license plate number and report them to the police.

God bless
yes and i woke up in a POOL of ice the next morning. not just a tub of big goddamned pool of flippin ice

oh yeah and regarding the other part of your question you are now pregnant
yes you should be concerned %26amp; make sure you have everything locked up including windows %26amp; patio doors!! I'm just concerned they may have gotten your plate # %26amp; get your address that way !
That is just crazy. It's bad enough they bombard you in the stores. Now they have resorted to parking lots.
lol you won't pass out they just trying to sell you some generic crap, I've had people do that to me before but I just ignored them...
yeah you should get it checkd out
I heard about that scam too! On an urban legend show, I still probably wouldn't try it. That is creepy!

Yes, they are Macy's employees who work in the perfume department. On occasion, there will be vendors from specific perfume companies who will pass out samples and greet customers. You can tell if they are Vendors when they have stickers on that say ';visitor.';

Where can i get free samples of perfumes?

There are 3 perfumes that i really like but im not sure which one to get. Vera wang rock princess, ed hardy-the pink bottle, or mariah carey - the newer one that she came out with. Is there a website that will give me samples to try out first?Where can i get free samples of perfumes?
You could just go to a department store and ask for a sample...or one of those snooty places in the mall where they let you sniff the stick from the tester bottle.

If you really want actual samples, though, go to www.freesampleforager.com.

Under the top picture, there is a strip that says Home, Health, Home, etc.

Go to Home and you'll get a drop down screen.

Go to Personal and then to Fragrance.

Some samples are sent in actual tiny bottles. Some are sent in tiny sealed packages, whether in cream, powder, or liquid form. Some come as just the paper type like you'd rip out of a magazine.

Watch for the ones that ask you to join their club or make an account. Sign up for only the ones that don't or you will get bombarded with junk mail. If you have an email account just for singing up for stuff, use that or don't put your email in at all (if possible). And some may be expired already so you'd better hurry!

Or ask friends if they have bought them. Maybe they will let you use some and see how it works with your own body's chemistry.Where can i get free samples of perfumes?
They probably have them at department stores. Sometimes the sales people are snotty and don't want to give them to you... but you can always try! They're more likely to give them to you if they think you're going to buy one of them.
Honestly, why don't you go to the malls around your area and go into the perfume section. They give out free small samples all the time.
department stores alway have free samples...

no, it does not have to be parfume from lanvin, but it can be. go back and try it all again. start with lanvin and if it is not the perfume, sniff around for a while and im sure you will find it. also ask shop assistant what perfume was on promotion on that particular day........they should know.
