Well personally, I really like http://www.sampleaday.com they feature a sample a day and they don't have any of those crappy scams or gimics... (you can check on the side of the screen under categories, they have a good selection of perfume samples to choose from) they are also pretty funny and what is nice is that I get their newsletter sent to my inbox every day so I can get the free samples from there.
Go to Macys or stores that have fragrance departments. If you ask for a sample of a perfume you like, most places have them. :)
