I have heard from many different people to be careful with people trying to sell you perfume. Apparently it is drugged and when you smell it you are knocked out unconscious and then they can rob you or do something worse!

It's an urban myth.
If they could put something like that on a sample, that could knock you out through one sniff, in the open, then it would be so powerful that they themselves would need to takes steps to avoid it.

This is a hoax.
However, if you *wanted* to drug someone with a perfume sample, I'd use carfentanyl. It's an extremely potent and short-acting opioid. A few micrograms would knock a person out for 5 or 10 minutes (assuming he didn't die as a result of overdose).
