Why am I so sensitive to those perfume samples in magazines?

I am really sensitive to the smell of those perfume samples in magazines. Just opening a magazine with those things gives me horrible headaches, makes me feel lightheaded and dizzy, and upsets my stomach. Why does this happen? I don't get this reaction when I wear perfume.Why am I so sensitive to those perfume samples in magazines?

They make the perfume samples in magazines extra-strong to make sure that you notice them. But it's just pretty obnoxious!


I'm sorry you're so sensitive to it though. That sucks. I guess just rip out the samples and throw them away before reading the magazine. They're pretty easy to find because the pages are thicker there. And I know the remnents of the smell will still be there, but at least it won't be as strong.
fragrance and preservatives cause most people's sensitivities. They tend to be strong in magazine strips (fragrance)
tht happens wid me at times.....cuz i guess they put in too of the perfume in the samples
